This is my proposed social media/influencer marketing/marketing mix mood board that will be the final mood board that will be included within my report. I have included influencers such as Jordyn Woods as she isn't the typical skinny girl and as a result as she has a large following she would be a good model for the fashions shows and to promote the products. Rhianna is also included within this mood board because she is inspiring woman with an inspiring brand behind her including so much diversity which Victoria's Secret should have. I have included several images of larger women and a lot of diversity to show the brand as equal again and this is how it will now be promoted. The world flag has been included to show that the place of Victoria's Secret is everywhere and isn't restricted to only a few countries and that they accept everyone. The quote 'outer beauty attracts, but inner beauty captivates' shows a new side for the brand. Another way to promote the brand equally is through plus sized magazines that showcase inspiring brands and women who are beautiful no matter what they look like. I have included Facebook as part of the social media part of this mood board because the brand is targeting middle aged women (this age group always uses Facebook) and therefore should focus on this as they don't use Twitter and Instagram as much. Finally, I made an icon for a Victoria's Secret app to show that an app will be introduced to the brand as a social media platform.
Victoria’s Secret’s top competitors as of January 2019 are Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan New York, and all three just like Victoria’s Secret, work in the Systems Software Industry, which is a type of computer programmer that is used to run a computer’s applications. In addition, as found in some primary research that has been conducted of an Instagram Poll. There are also many other brands that are competitors of Victoria’s Secret. For example, Ann Summers, Boux Avenue, Primark and H&M. There are a large amount of competitors that consumers would lean towards rather than Victoria’s Secret because they are cheaper, better quality and have better ethics/morals and therefore customers have more respect for those brands. Even though Victoria’s Secret is a successful business, alternative brands have many features buyers worship that Victoria’s Secret do not have, resulting in a loss of sales for the company.
